I have 4 melodious songs in mp3 format from ANR’s masterpiece Batasari, and Master Venu scored music for these songs: (1) Kanera Kamandulai ; (2) Kanulaku Dochi; (3) Lokamerugani Bala; and (4) O Baatasari… I am not very sure about the quality of the recording.

Actually this site started as one stop for 70s and 80s melodies, gradualga daanni atu 60s ku itu 90s ku saagadeeyagaligaamu.

Ikapothe 50s and 40s nu add cheyinchadam oh mostaaru bhagiratha prayatnam avutundi,

The main reason is many visitors visit this site and request songs which are known/heard by our age group(35-45). Whenevers songs like Baatasari, Swargaseema etc are requested it is rare as well as the listeners/hits to these songs may be in units. Thats the reason for the non hosting the rare songs of 50s and 40s.

Dear Nanda Kishore:

It gives me immense pleasure to know that young people like Chimata Srini, Surya, Sunson, Nanda Kishore, and Santharam are doing an excellent job by revivifying forgotten melodies from the near past as well as the far off past. Srini himself outlines in About Us that this site intends to collect songs only from the 60's/70's/80's and a few from the 50's and a few more from the early 90's. Batasari belongs to 60s, and the 4 melodious songs it contains did not receive due recognition. The lyrically rich song “Kanulaku Dochi Chethikandani Endamavulunnai” from this movie captures the essence of Hindu way of reconciliation.

Perhaps, we have to make allowances for a few special songs even when they fall outside our time frame. I am happy read you postscript that you would persuade Srini to post select songs of Nagaiah and Bhanumati.
