All of us have our own favourite MDs, lyricists and singers. Every author tries to justify his chosen artist to be superior to others. These kinds of debates only land us in unsavoury arguments which have the power of creating unhealthy atmosphere on our discussion board. It is human nature that every man tries to justify his own stand in one way or other. As a line in Pokri goes, “Okkasari nenu kamitaithe…” Let us not succumb to this general human susceptibility.

An alternative approach is to highlight the works of the great people, old and new, so that everyone would get enlightened by the elaboration. One can include several examples from several films to substantiate their point of view.

If we really love music, though we have our own personal choices, we can not ignore someone whose eminence is too conspicuous, can we?

Most of the erstwhile magazines, commenced with noble intentions, could not survive long due to ego clashes among the patrons who essentially argued on “my MD is superior, more innovative, more creative, and more versatile that yours”. However hard a person tries to sell his view to the other person, the other persons becomes more adamant and tries in all ways in outwit the first person.

We may have to agree, in the ultimate analysis, that it is the Almighty who expresses himself in various forms of art, and He chooses a few people as His mere medium. We can find this philosophy in works of Thyagayya, Annamayya, and other great saint classical composers. They gave full credit to their Creator.

suryaprakashgaru,

You would have already noticed that in our DB, We generally dont entertain such posts.

We go with the age old motto of Vijayachitra magazine

Unna manchine chebutam unnaa chedunu cheppam..

I personally hate comparision between any two. Thats the reason I dont visit to many other sites...
