A TRIBUTE TO KISHOREKUMAR

HI

Today is the day Kishorekumar left us 20years ago. A versatile, eccentric genius of indian music field. Only person to produce a film, direct it, compose music for it, Act in it, write a song and sing it.

Yet it took 21 years of hardwork and struggle to reach the peak.

We shall pay a tribute to him by remembering a few of his songs.....

I would like to give him my salute by remembering his ten greatest songs

1. Mere Naina saawan bhaadon ---- An excellent and breathtaking rendition

2. Zindagi ka safar hai yeh kaisi safar

3. Koi humdum na raha koi sahara na raha

4. Aa chal ke tujhe main leke chalu

5. Zindagi ka safar hai yeh kaisi safar

6. Zindagi ek safar hai suhana

7. Mera jeevan kora kagaz kora hi rah gaya

8. Roop tere mastana

9. O mere dil ke chain

10. Mere sapnon ki raani

Actually I wanted to write an article about him, but couldnt, so I am putting it here. Hope you too will pay a tribute to him this day by listening to his songs

I remember his birthday is on August 4th, is that right?

He was a revolution in Hindi film music. Particularly his songs in Burmans music is out of the world!

Two songs that can't miss my top ten list of his are:

Samjhauta gamon se karlo an inspirational song which saved many from attempting suicide(much in the lines of kalakanidi viluvainadhi) esp the line "Insaan jo khud sambale auronko bhi sambhale" "Kaun hai jisne na thokar khaayi" excellent lyrics by indeewar.

Aanewala pal jaane wala hai from golmal

Jeevan se bhari teri aankhen majboor kare jeene ke liya from safar

Zindagi ke safar mein guzar jaatein from aap ki kasam

Lets pray tribute to the Legendary Kishore Kumar who left us today 21 years ago.

Till his death I knew he was a great singer but little did I knew about his acting talent.

On the day of his death, i.e 13 th October 1987, doordarshan suddenly announced at 7pm that they are going to telecast Chalti Ka naam gaadi.

My father who used to hate films told us that it is a very good film you can watch. All our neighbours aged 5-60 gathered at my house and started watching the film. By the time film was over we children aged around 11-16 all became kishore kumar fans for his acting.

What a subtle way of acting he did for the song Ek ladki bheegi bhaagi si

I started writing a tribute on Kishorekumar but only I could complete 1/2 of it. Hope I will complete within a couple of days

Andhrulu Aarambhashoorulu anna naanudi nijam chesthu atuvanti 1/2 filled projects chala unnayi naa daggara.

Bharthruhari naa lanti vari kosam oka adhbutamaina padyam rasadu. Daanni telugulo Enugu lakshmana kavi inka adhbutanga cheppadu

However I will try to finish those unfinished things soon. I have a herculean task to bring back our people from sbdb(like 20-20 moju nundi janalnu test cricket vaipu mallinchadam annamata).
