Thanks for posting the songs.

I check 'New' songs section every Saturday, Sunday and Monday to see if any of the songs uploaded by me are posted . It's a kind of satisfaction to see those songs in the website.

I too don't have the full version of 'sai .... pOTIkostE' song. The VCD has only part of the song. I already expressed this in the 'Replacements' thread and requested you to get the full version .

Yes, rAdhamma kApuraM is a dubbed movie from Tamil with Shiva Kumar and Sarita playing the lead roles (MD : MS Viswanathan). Two songs are good - 'ilA kOTi kalalE palikE' and 'challanI rAdhammA'. I picked up VCD of this movie just for the music of MSV

The greatest thing of her acting is She got critical acclaim from tamil filmdom for her tamil diction, which is considered to be unparalleled till date.

Savithri and P susheela were other two non tamilians who mastered the diction and got acclaim.

Among the male counterparts very few could make a mark there like SVR PBS and our own Balu. Even ghantasala couldnt make a lasting impression there.

'dharma vaDDi' is a nice movie based on the writings of late Sri Tripuraneni Gopichand. Directed by K.B.Tilak, this offbeat movie deals with the ordeals of poor entrapped in the clutches of mediators and private money lenders.

The song 'challa chEyi gollabhAmA
kavvaM tippu kaluva bhAmA' is a fantastic melody by SPB (on Sudhakar and Krishnaveni).

This is a remake of Hindi hit 'Aap ki Kasam'. This was produced by M.Mohan Babu himself and directed by Dasari. In adopting to the nativity and appeasing to the sentiments and tastes of Telugu movie goer, this movie lost the original poignance. This movie also lacked good melodies which were very instrumental in the success of the original movie.(zindagi ke safar mein, karvate badalte rahe, jai jai sivashankar, suno kaho suna kaha, etc)

Hello Srigaru, Though, I know you will not entertain requests for songs after 1990s, I felt like requesting the song from "Ninne Pelladuta" "Eto vellipoyindi manasu", after I saw Nagarjuna's section in the new and improved site. It is a melodious song and I am sure everyone enjoy listening to this.

Please upload this song, if you have no objection.

chiTTi tammuDu - 1962 - Pendyala - Master Venkata Ramana, Raja Sulochana, Rajanala, Kantha Rao, Jaggaiah, Devika, Ramana Reddy, Raja Babu, Bala Krishna. This is another movie in the combination of Pendyala (music) and K.B.Tilak (direction).

The MD of 'tallitanDrulu' is Ghantasala and the MD of 'muddula chellelu' is KVM. No doubt in it. After 'bommA borusA' fiasco I am taking a little bit more care in giving the details .

This is a masterpiece directed by 'bharata kalAprapUrna' Sri Vedantam Raghavaiah. This is one of the earliest color movies.

Ghantasala mastaru as a music director excelled in this movie. Certainly one of his best albums.

Though it was a richly made movie with huge settings, very famous cast and beautiful songs, I think the movie did not perform well at box-office as expected. The reason (as per my limited knowledge and analysis) : the story line was thin and even a not so keen viewer could guess the suspense element in this movie. A bit keenly following viewer could easily guess the 'rahasyaM' by the middle of the movie. (My wife who watched this movie while embroidering her saree could guess the suspense element ). The director should have taken a little bit more care in screenplay and story narration.

'unnadilE dAgunnadilE', 'chAraDEsi kanulatO chErukunTi ninnu', 'tirumala girivAsA', 'magarAyA valarAyA', 'srI lalitA sivajyOtI', 'girijA kalyAnaM', 'lalita bhAva' are very good melodies.

mAoori dEvata has four songs and all are good. Of these 'kaluva kanulu mUyaku' and 'muddAbanti muddU chUsi' are excellent. I heard 'kaluva kanulu mUyaku' for the first time and fell in love with it instantly

manOhara is directed by Sri LV Prasad. I think this is a straight movie to Shivaji Ganeshan in Telugu. Kala Vachaspathi Jaggaiah gave his voice to Shivaji. Watch this movie for histrionics of TR Raja Kumari and Shivaji Ganeshan. Both have done an excellent job, especially TR Raja Kumari in the role of a wily dancer who aspires to become queen by hook or crook.
