Very sad news.. he is also from our district and my babai was his student in Chirala in the mid 70's. I had a chance to talk to him in 1986, when he came to our village as a chief guest to our local Junior College's anniversary function. A very nice gentleman!!!

He wrote a film song, "amma oka bomma.. nAnna oka bomma" in Giri Babu's dEvatalArA deevinchanDi and Giri Babu is also from his native place (rAvi nUtala, Prakasam dt).

He later got very close to NTR and it would be a surprise to all of you, if you knew that NTR was the peLLi purOhituDu for Nagabhairava's son's weddding. He always stayed low-profile and simple in spite of his proximity to NTR during that time.

Recently, I came to know that his son did not do well with a Residential College in/near Ongole and that left the family in a financial mess.

I deeply express my condolences to his family...

I am fortunate to meet him during my Engineering days. My best friend is from Chirala. Nagabhairava Koteswara Rao gAru is a close family friend to my friend's family. chakkaTi panchakaTTutO, guburu meesAlatO kaTTipaDEsE aahAryaM naakinkA gurtuku undi.
